The Social Committee is responsible for planning and organizing GUIDE's socials throughout the year. They can be as small as a movie or big as a cookout. The goal of the committee is to help unite the organization and provide more oppourtunities to participate and meet their fellow Guidsters.
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for raising money for GUIDE so the organization is able to participate in Shack-a-thon, Relay For Life and other events through out the year. The committee strives to come up with new, unique ideas for generating funds that GUIDE can partake in. They also plan and promote profit shares at local resturants and facilitate the competition Penny Wars.
The Shack-a-Thon Committee is responsible for planning anything and everything related to GUIDE's participation in Aggie Habitat's annual Shack-a-Thon week held in mid-April. This committee helps fundraise money to buy a shack spot and to build GUIDE's shack. They are also responsible for the planning and construction of the actual shack. All money that is raised through Shack-a-Thon goes to help build houses in the Bryan/College Station area.
- The Marketing Committee is responsible for promoting GUIDE activities around campus and in the community. This committee will be in charge of marketing our annual campus wide philanthropy event.
